For any stepfamily adult concerned about relations with or between one or more minor or grown stepkids

Welcome!

Hi - All healthy family adults are concerned with the welfare and guidance of their minor and grown kids. Kids in typical multi-home stepfamilies have the normal developmental needs, plus up to 30 special adjustment needs from family reorganization. Most stepfamily adults are unprepared to recognize and fill all these needs effectively, which causes "problems" with and between resident and visiting kids and each other. Use this Forum to describe any such child-related concerns and problems in and between your several homes, and get validation, support, and suggestions from others like you and these Break the Cycle! articles.
